Payments & Payouts
Platform fees, Stripe payouts, deposits, refunds, and disputes.
What is Inkslips's platform fee?
Inkslips charges no platform fee on any plan: no booking fees, no commission and no cut of your deposits. Card payments go straight to your studio's own account, and the payment processor charges its standard fees, usually about 2.3% to 3% per card payment depending on the card and whether the client pays in person or online. Inkslips doesn't add a fee on top. See inkslips.com/pricing for current plans.
PermalinkHow does Inkslips handle payouts?
Payouts run through Stripe Connect on the studio's own connected account. Standard payout schedule is T+2 business days; Pro and Studio plans receive T+1 payouts where Stripe supports it. Studios manage payout schedules, bank accounts, and 1099-K reporting directly inside their Stripe Express dashboard. Inkslips never holds client funds — money flows through Stripe Connect to the studio's Stripe balance, net of the applicable Inkslips platform fee and Stripe processing fees.
PermalinkHow is my payment information stored?
Card details are handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Inkslips never stores or sees your full card number.
PermalinkI was charged for a no-show. How do I dispute it?
No-show and late-cancel charges are applied by the studio per their published policy. Contact the studio directly through the app first. If the issue isn't resolved, email support@inkslips.com.
PermalinkHow do refunds work?
Refund eligibility is set by each studio's policy. If a studio approves a refund, it's issued back to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
