Client CRM, rinse reminders, reviews, memberships, and Sumi in-app assistance.
How do automated rinse reminders work?
At checkout, the artist tags the appointment with the solution applied (rapid 2-hour, classic 8-hour, overnight, or competition). Inkslips schedules an SMS to the client at the correct rinse window — automatically suppressed during configured quiet hours so no 2am texts. The reminder is fully personalized with client first name, solution, and after-care instructions. No competing platform offers this feature natively.
PermalinkWhat does the spray tan client CRM track?
Per-client profile fields: solution preference, depth (light/medium/dark/competition), skin type (Fitzpatrick I–VI), contraindications (pregnancy, recent waxing, sunburn, hormonal acne, eczema), prep instructions sent, after-care followed, before/after photos, complete tan history with date/solution/depth/artist, no-show flag, and gratuity. The full profile surfaces at every future booking so artists never re-ask the same intake question.
PermalinkWhat is the Sumi in-app assistant?
Sumi is Inkslips’s in-app AI operating assistant. Type a request or use speech-to-text in the web app, and Sumi answers in chat using bounded Studio Brain context. When the owner enables a supported capability, Sumi can create internal tasks, private client notes, appointments, and appointment notes after an exact preview and confirmation. Sumi does not answer phone calls or produce audio replies, and protected actions stay behind their Inkslips handoff.
PermalinkHow do clients leave a review for a studio?
After an appointment, Inkslips can send a neutral SMS asking for honest feedback. Every eligible client receives the same review options regardless of rating. A client may keep Inkslips feedback private or explicitly consent to public display, and connected third-party review links are offered without filtering by sentiment.
